• One-to-one guidance from professional artist Lynn Parr. (But don't worry: there is no right or wrong way to approach this creative work. You will be given guidance in expressing yourselves and instruction in techniques, but there are no exams!).

• Accommodation.
• Breakfast & dinner. Alcohol.
• Art materials. (You will have the opportunity to try different techniques in my studio, using materials I will provide, but for our main work outdoors, please bring your own. There are no art stores in Dingle.)
• Outdoor gear. (We will not be doing long walks, but the terrain can be uneven, so good hiking boots or sturdy shoes are essential. Waterproofs are a good idea!)

What to bring

• Watercolours, and/or acrylics, pastels, pencils, or other drawing materials, sketchbooks, watercolour pad –  but no oil paints or mediums, unless you are familiar with them and have a way of transporting your wet paintings. Canvas boards will be provided.
• REMEMBER: you have to carry all your kit, and you MUST bring everything you need. You will not be able to purchase art materials in Dingle.
• Outdoor gear. Even in the summer there may be rain showers, and it can get chilly when you are sitting outdoors painting or drawing for a couple of hours. It may also be muddy.
• Good hiking boots or shoes for walking from the car to the painting location. We won't be hiking for miles, but the tracks are not paved and can be uneven.

Who's it for?

• Adults. You must be fit enough to walk a few hundred metres along a rough track, and sit or stand outdoors for 2-3 hours at a time.
• Both beginners and seasoned artists. You don't have to be an expert. You are only working for yourself, not to impress a judge or other students. Complete beginners welcome!
• You do not have to like my painting style: You will be guided in techniques, seeing and interpreting the landscape in your own style.
