Autumn Escape

72 x 90 cm (28 x 35 inches) including wooden floater frame.

This piece was begun during the first Covid 19 lockdown, when the countryside called but we could not answer. The mountains are distant, fading into the haze; the winds stir the grasses and wild flowers. We stand behind a thicket, waiting to be freed once more.
